What this policy covers
This policy covers the website sheetstead.com and the email you send to support@sheetstead.com.
When you buy a template, you pay on a checkout page run by Polar. The Polar Privacy Policy covers that page and the information you give Polar there.
Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc. handle some information for us, as described below. Their own privacy policies also apply: Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Information we receive and collect
When you buy a template, Polar shares these details of your order with us: your name, your email address, your country, what you bought, and whether the order was refunded. We receive this information from Polar, not from you directly.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and what you write.
The website itself does not collect personal information. It has no forms, no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider keeps technical records of page requests, such as IP addresses, which we cannot see.
Your copy of a template stays in your own Google account. We cannot see or open it.
Why we use it
We use this information only to:
- confirm your order and help you get your setup guide and copy link;
- answer your questions and give support;
- process refunds;
- keep the sales records that tax law requires.
We do not use it for marketing.
How long we keep it and how we delete it
We keep support email for 24 months after our last contact with you. We keep order and payout records for 5 years.
When that time ends, we delete the records: email is permanently deleted from our mailbox, including its trash, and local files are deleted from our computer. We check for records to delete every quarter.
Storage outside your country
The service providers below store or process your information in the United States. We read it from the Republic of Korea. The laws of those countries may allow courts, police or other government authorities to access it.

Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email support@sheetstead.com from the address you used to buy, or include your order number.
We reply within 10 days. We only ask for what we need to confirm that the request comes from you. Records that tax law requires us to keep are deleted when their retention period ends.
Complaints
If you have a concern, please email us first at support@sheetstead.com.
You can also complain to the privacy regulator where you live, for example the Personal Information Protection Commission in the Republic of Korea, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.
Children
Sheetstead is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
How we protect it
We use two-step verification on the accounts that hold your information, collect as little as we can, and do not keep email addresses in our local records.
No way of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.
If something goes wrong
If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you within 72 hours of finding out. We will also report it to the relevant regulator when the law requires it.

Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with its effective date at least 7 days before it takes effect, or at least 30 days before if the change is less favorable to you. The change history below lists every version.
Marketing email
We don't send marketing email. We only email you about your order or to answer your questions.
If we ever start sending marketing email, we will ask for your consent first and give you an easy way to unsubscribe.
